EZ WAY Real Name Verification Guide

STEP2
Register with the EZWAY YiLiWei App
Taiwanese Citizens (holders of Taiwan Identity Cards)
Click on "Republic of China" nationality to register as a member. Enter your ID number, real name, phone number, and birthday to complete the real-name authentication. Enter your National Health Insurance (NHI) card number, which is the 12-digit number located on the lower left of the front side of your NHI card.
Resident foreigners living in Taiwan (holders of residence permits)
Select "Non-Republic of China" nationality to register as a member. Choose "Residence Permit" as the identification type. Enter your residence permit number, real name, phone number, and birthdate to complete the real-name verification.
Foreign Visitor (No Resident Certificate, only Passport)
Click "Non-ROC Nationality" to register as a member. Select "Other Identification Document" as the type of document. Enter passport number, real name, phone number, and birthday to complete real-name authentication.
STEP3
When the package arrives in Taiwan, you will receive a notification from the Bureau of Foreign Trade's EZWay app indicating that a new package has arrived. The notification will state: "Real-name authorization notice: You have entrusted XXX to declare import goods with commodity code XXXX. Please proceed to EZWay for real-name authentication." Upon receiving this notification, open the EZWay app and select "Customs Real-Name Authorization."
STEP4
After confirming the above information is correct, click on "Declare as Matching" and then confirm to complete the customs declaration process!
